I’d like to provide feedback about your staff member (he seemed Western, White, or possibly Spanish; I’m not sure of his nationality). Today, at 4:08 PM, I was standing in front of the counter, waiting to place my order, but he was busy talking to his colleague and ignoring me. When he finally noticed me, he didn’t greet me with a simple “hello,” “hi,” or “how are you?” He just asked for my order right away, which I didn’t mind. After I placed my order and paid, he handed me the buzzer without saying “thank you,” which again, I didn’t mind too much. However, when my order was ready and I went to pick it up, there was still no “thank you.”
I believe it’s important for your staff to be trained in basic customer service, especially in the hospitality industry. A simple “hello,” “hi,” or “thank you” goes a long way in making customers feel valued. This was really disappointing, as I’ve been a loyal customer, and this is the first time I’ve experienced this kind of service.
